In the heart of Dubai’s bustling martial arts scene, BKG UAE has carved out a name as a growing and respected hub for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. What started as a small initiative driven by passion, perseverance, and community spirit has transformed into a place where students of all levels come to grow—not just as athletes, but as individuals.
How It Started
BKG Dubai was born from a shared dream: to create a training space that values technique, discipline, and camaraderie over ego. The founders—practitioners with diverse backgrounds and a deep love for the sport—set out to build more than just a gym. They wanted to foster a culture of mutual respect, continuous learning, and personal development through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
With modest mats, a handful of dedicated students, and a commitment to doing things the right way, the journey began. There were no grand openings or flashy promotions—just hard training, consistent effort, and a belief that the values taught on the mat could carry far beyond it.
The Journey So Far
Over the years, BKG has grown organically, powered by word of mouth, strong mentorship, and the results of its students. From kids stepping onto the mat for the first time to adult competitors preparing for international tournaments, the BKG family has expanded to include people from all walks of life.
Our coaching team has developed into a diverse and experienced group, each instructor bringing their own strengths—from world-level competition experience to an exceptional talent for working with beginners and youth. The classes now range from fundamentals to advanced, women's programs, competition training, and youth development—all delivered in a welcoming, ego-free environment.
Students from BKG have competed across the UAE and internationally, with some earning medals, belts, and accolades. But just as important as the wins are the lessons learned, the friendships built, and the confidence gained.

Today, BKG Dubai stands as a growing force in the UAE’s Jiu-Jitsu community. The atmosphere on the mats is both serious and supportive—where students push each other to improve while keeping the spirit of martial arts alive.
We're proud of our roots and how far we've come, but we’re even more excited for the future. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on quality over quantity, fostering a strong team culture, and providing world-class instruction in an inclusive, inspiring space.
We’ve expanded our youth and school outreach programs, helping introduce the benefits of Jiu-Jitsu to younger generations. Our goal is to build not just champions on the mats, but strong, disciplined, and respectful individuals off of them.
